Part One: Research:

1. You will research information on your chosen health topic.
2. You will need information from at least 1 print source and 2 Internet sources.
3. You will use the notes handout to do your research.

Research questions:

• ISSUE: Your team will write 4 questions about what is your health problem about.

example: What is the difference exactly between HIV and AIDS?

• PREVENTION: You and your partner will create 3 questions about preventing your health concern.

example: If I am feeling depressed what are some things I can do to make the feeling stop?

• WHERE TO GO FOR HELP IN SAN FRANCISCO: Your small groups will find 2 places in San Francisco to go for help or if you have questions and need an expert opinion.

example: If my friend is getting abused she can go to ___________ for help.

PERSONAL RESPONSE:

Part Two: Publishing

1. You will choose how you will publish or present your work.

2. Find the teacher that will be in charge of the type of presentation you want.

3. Begin to present information following the rubric.

Part Three: Presentation

1. You will present in small groups.
2. You will grade each other using the rubrics.
3. You will fill out a handout as you listen to each presentation.
