Homework Policy

You will receive a homework packet every Monday and it is due the following Monday.  There are no make-ups for homework. 

 

Homework will consist of:

Ø      Map Work

Ø      Current Event

Ø      Writing Assignment

Ø      An assignment pertaining to the weeks lessons.

Computers will play an important role in the class.  Write down your username and password below.

While in the computer lab the last 5-10 minutes will be free time for you to check email and surf the web.

Classroom Behavior and Management 

A respectful classroom is one in which everyone feels safe to be there and comfortable to express ideas.  Any attempts to make the classroom an unsafe place (teasing, name-calling, using slurs, yelling) will not be tolerated.

Detention: For disrespecting a safe learning environment

Ø      5 minutes during passing periods:                    Two Checks

Ø      Sent out of class and 30 minutes of

detention after school:                                        Three Checks

  

If you are sent out of the classroom more than two times you are not invited back to the classroom without a parent or guardian meeting.
